The best websites for Podcast publishers
I am new to podcasting having only started into this niche from January 2021 onwards, I have however been active on the internet since 2006 when I setup my first ecommerce business, so I do have a lot of experience with the digital sector.
What has impressed me with podcasting is how strong the main players in this niche are, they have good reputations both from a brand point of view and from a technical point of view (using Moz.com to check their metrics). Also a lot of niches on the internet are full of spammy sites such as online business directories, but this is not the case with podcasting.
Podcast Platforms
All the main players now have their own podcast areas, so Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Amazon through their Audible brand, Google was late to get into podcasting, but they have deep pockets and a very strong brand and they have the ability to introduce podcasts from their directory into the SERP (Search Engine Results Placement) which they use to good affect. There are two great websites that I have discovered and started to use regularly and I am writing this article because I want to share these with others.
Podchaser
This is a really nicely crafted website, and well worth investing time into, it has a great community where you can share comments about podcasts and make your own lists covering your favourites, plus many more social features such as followers and following. None of these are unique features but there are so many it makes for a great experience overall.

Podpage
This is the other notable site I’ve found, its a mini site builder that creates a website for you in only a few minutes using your podcast RSS feed. The free version has a great range of features, but if that is not enough you can pay to have even more!.

These two sites are really good examples of both the quality and standard of work in this niche, if you are looking for a way to promote your website, I can really recommend these.
We are using podcasting to build our traffic as our content appears in really strong authority sites some of that credibility and direct traffic gets passed across to our own site. We blog about our progress and post regularly about our podcasting journey.
