1. Andros

Andros is the biggest landmass in the Bahamas and it is also the third largest barrier reef in the world. Because of the island’s vast wetlands, channels are created which makes it a good area for fishing and prime boating. It should also not come as a surprise to you why this is a popular destination for divers. Apart from that, people also visit Andros because of the lighthouse — this lighthouse comes with guns and cannons that makes the trip all the more worth it.

2. Grand Bahama

You might have heard this before and not believed it, but the Grand Bahama is truly one of the most beautiful places in the Bahamas. Your visit to the Bahamas wont be complete if you leave out this one location. There is a reason the island is called the “Paradise island” and that is a very solid reason. 5. Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park

The Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park is situated in Eastern Bahamas. It is the first of its kind in the Caribbean region and most people refer to it as a marine secured area. Why? It houses some of the most stunning seascapes in the whole city. 6. Pirate Museum

The Pirate Museum is the favorite of a great many people as there are a lot of intriguing stories attached to it. 7. Long Island

Long island is a haven for diving, fishing, and boating. It also boasts of many unspoiled pink and white sand beaches. One of the island’s most stunning attractions is the Dean’s Blue Home, which is the deepest known saltwater blue hole in the world. This is one of the many reasons why you should visit the island. 8. Ardastra Gardens, Zoo and Conservation Park

If you do not like animals, then maybe do not visit the Ardastra Gardens. But do you really want to miss out on an opportunity to see the native Bahamian animals for yourself? The zoo houses a ton of them. Nature lovers can also find something for themselves at the garden.

9. Downtown and Bay Street

10. National Art Gallery of the Bahamas

Dear art enthusiasts, there is something for you too. The National Art Gallery is situated at the Villa Doyle which is basically a large Neoclassical mansion. The gallery was built in the 1860s by the Chief Justice of the Bahamas at the time, William Henry Doyle. Today, you can find stunning art pieces at the gallery that will take your breath away.
